I actually took this picture several years ago, but stumbled across it recently. I was watching TV one afternoon when I heard a "thud" on the roof. Obviously curious about what it was I went outside and looked up at the roof only to be stunned by the sight of four peacocks walking around on the roof. I ran back inside and grabbed my camera, thinking no one would believe me if I told them the story.
After taking the picture I watched as they flew down from the roof into the yard, over the fence, and then walked down the street. Apparently they lived nearby and were just out for an afternoon stroll.
